FUTURE PROJECTS!
We are committed to our foundation project, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, and to finding new ways to improve the program throughout the county. We are also dedicated to encouraging and supporting other innovative and educational opportunities and organizations. Our work has just begun, and we invite you to join us in making our home a better place for children to grow, learn, and live.
Once our program has a solid foundation, we would like to add an addition to the program: a physical reading of the books to children. This would be a program where retired adults would commit to reading to one or multiple children each month. While many children in our community would love to be read to, many parents simply do not have the time to read to the children. This addition to the program would allow these kids the opportunity to have an adult take the time to read their new book to them each month. We believe this addition would strengthen the program in Brown County, but more importantly, it would strengthen the children of our community.
